Assistant Manager - Search Engine Marketing

Roles & responsibilities:

Assist the Manager/Lead SEM in developing and implementing strategic SEM (Search Engine Marketing) campaigns to drive targeted traffic and conversions for the ecommerce grocery retail platform.
Support in managing SEM campaigns across various channels, including keyword research, ad copy creation, bid management, and performance analysis.
Monitor campaign performance metrics and assist in optimizing campaigns to improve clickthrough rates, conversion rates, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in SEM to contribute insights and recommendations for campaign optimization and growth.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment of SEM efforts with overall marketing objectives and strategies.
Assist in managing advertising budgets and tracking expenses to ensure efficient use of resources.
Provide regular updates and reports to the Manager/Lead SEM on campaign performance, trends, and areas for improvement.

What you'll need:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; additional certifications in SEM or digital marketing are a plus.
Prior experience of 5+ years as SEM or digital marketing roles, preferably in the ecommerce or retail industry.
Familiarity with SEM platforms and tools, such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, and SEMrush.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to assist in making informed decisions and recommendations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate ideas clearly.
Detailoriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
