**Job Description:
- **
Quality Management:Work closely with developers, architects, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
. Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for project requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address issues, and participate in agile ceremonies.


Automation and Tools:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using PHP testing frameworks or other relevant tools. Continuously evaluate and enhance test automation coverage to improve efficiency and effectiveness.


Functional and Non-Functional Testing:
Conduct functional testing to ensure the correct behavior of features and services. Perform non-functional testing, including load testing, scalability testing, and security testing, to assess system performance and reliability.


Defect Management:
Report and track defects using issue tracking tools, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Conduct root cause analysis of defects and provide feedback for process improvement.


Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and automation scripts. Contribute to the creation of user documentation related to testing processes and procedures.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:


  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  • Knowledge of security testing principles and tools.
  • Experience of API testing tools like SoapUI, Postman.
  • Database Management and query skills.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Agile development methodologies: Kanban, Scrum, XP, Lean.
  • Good understanding of the UK education market
  • Ability to understand and interpret external statutory and regulatory requirements
