    Description

    Job Description:

    - Develop and implement the Modern Trade sales strategy and growth plans aligned with business objectives.
    - Drive profitability and achieve revenue and market share targets within the Modern Trade channel.
    - Align trade marketing and promotions with the Modern Trade sales strategy and overall business strategy.
    - Lead resource for planning portfolio growth initiatives, assortment planning, launch planning, and execution.
    - Oversee category management and promotion planning activities.
    - Drive operational efficiency within the Modern Trade channel.
    - Monitor performance metrics and take corrective actions as needed.
    - Achieve planned sales targets by channel and customer.
    - Foster consistent growth by managing internal and external stakeholders effectively.
    - Manage promotional budgets and ensure effective spending to drive sales and brand building.
    - Lead negotiations for in-store activations, merchandising, and sellout plans with key accounts.
    - Negotiate annual trading and logistic contracts with Modern Trade chains.
    - Provide trade information, competitor activities, and market intelligence to the company.
    - Manage accounts receivables and resolve outstanding debts promptly.
    - Resolve customer trade issues, complaints, and operational matters efficiently.
    - Manage a large workforce across the Modern Trade channel.
    - Review and manage outstation outlets through frequent market visits and coordination with local sales management.
    - Collaborate closely with Key Account Managers to achieve company objectives and vision.
    - Lead the brand's entry into National and Regional Modern Trade chains.
    - Build and mentor a high performing sales team, providing guidance and coaching to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
    - Manage business P&L and revenue generation, including launching, building, and growing business operations within the audio and wearables industry.

    The Successful Applicant:

    The ideal candidate should have extensive experience managing the Modern Trade channel within the audio and wearables industry. They must be capable of leading and operating independently in a dynamic startup environment.

    Competencies and qualifications:

    - MBA or Master's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
    - 10-15 years of experience in sales and channel management with at least 5 years of exposure to Modern Trade format within the audio and wearables industry.
    - Proficiency in Tamil and Telugu.
    - Proven track record of successfully leading and growing sales teams in the consumer electronics, audio, or wearables sector.
    - Strong understanding of Modern Trade channels, including key players, market trends, and distribution strategies.
    - Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage contracts with Modern Trade chains and large retailers.
    - Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and mentor sales teams towards achieving business objectives.
    - Proficiency in Microsoft Suite for data-driven decision-making and performance tracking.
    - Strong business acumen and understanding of financial metrics to drive profitability and manage budgets effectively.
