This role involves working closely with sales, technical teams, and customers to understand requirements, propose solutions, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Development:
Understand customer needs and requirements, and develop tailored IT solutions focusing on application management and managed services.
Create compelling proposals, presentations, and demonstrations that effectively communicate the value of our solutions.
Technical Expertise:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies related to application management and managed services.
Provide technical guidance and support to the sales team and customers throughout the sales cycle.
Client Engagement:
Engage with prospective clients to understand their business challenges and technical requirements.
Conduct needs assessments, discovery sessions, and solution workshops to gather detailed customer requirements.
Proposal Management:
Lead the development of RFP/RFI responses, ensuring comprehensive and competitive proposals.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and resources for proposal development.
Presentations and Demonstrations:
Deliver high-impact presentations and demonstrations to customers, showcasing the capabilities and benefits of our application management and managed services solutions.
Relationship Building:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing insights and recommendations that align with their strategic goals.
Sales Support:
Assist the sales team in developing and executing account strategies to achieve sales targets.
Participate in sales meetings, customer visits, and industry events to promote our solutions and generate leads.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 15-18 years of experience in a presales, technical sales, or solutions architect role within the IT services industry, with a focus on application management and managed services.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of application management, IT infrastructure, managed services, cloud computing, and related technologies.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Collaboration:
Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with customers and partners.
Travel:
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and support sales activities.
