- Design and implement Azure Virtual Network (VNet) and AWS Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) architectures, including subnetting, route tables, security groups, and network access control lists (ACLs).
- Configure and manage VPN connections, ExpressRoute (Azure), and Direct Connect (AWS) to establish secure connectivity between on-premises data centers and cloud resources.
- Implement and fine-tune network security controls, including network security groups (NSGs), firewall rules, encryption protocols, and identity and access management (IAM) policies.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate network provisioning, configuration management, and deployment tasks using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and scripting languages.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and optimize network resources using native cloud monitoring tools and third-party solutions.
- Design and implement high availability, disaster recovery, and fault-tolerant network architectures to ensure business continuity and resilience in cloud environments.
- Configure and manage cloud-native networking services such as Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, AWS Elastic Load Balancing, and Route 53.
- Implement and manage dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and RIP for efficient traffic distribution and failover in multi-region cloud environments.
- Collaborate with application teams to optimize network traffic flow, minimize latency, and improve application performance through traffic shaping and QoS policies.
- Stay current with emerging cloud networking technologies, best practices, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 6-8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructures, with a focus on cloud networking in Azure and AWS environments.
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
- Hands-on experience with Azure networking services (VNet, VPN Gateway, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute) and AWS networking services (VPC, VPN, Direct Connect, Route 53).
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, AWS CloudFormation, or Terraform.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages for automation and orchestration.
- Experience with network security best practices, including access control, encryption, network segmentation, and security compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring and management tools such as Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, and third-party network monitoring solutions.
- Strong understanding of dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP) and static routing configurations in cloud environments.
