    Description

    The role will closely work with the Manufacturing Head to drive key initiatives including cost management, inventory optimization, and process automation.

    This role requires a strategic thinker who can provide financial insights and analysis, drive budgeting and forecasting processes, and support decision-making on capital investments to enhance overall manufacturing efficiency and productivity.

    Responsibilities

    • Partner with the Manufacturing Head to drive initiatives related to costing, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
    • Develop financial targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the manufacturing operations. Monitor and report on performance, guiding operational adjustments and improvements.
    • Analyze and manage manufacturing costs, identify costsaving opportunities, and implement cost control measures to optimize financial performance.
    • Cocreate budgeting proposals (revenue and capex) for each unit based on expected Return on Capital Employed (ROCE)/Return on Equity (ROE). Make recommendations for capex approvals and support decisionmaking in areas of capital investment and makeorbuy strategy.
    • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes, providing financial insights to support strategic decisions such as capital investments and productivity improvements.
    • Lead efforts to drive automation, leveraging technology to streamline processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.

    Education:
    MBA Finance (Tier I campus)


    Experience:

    • 35 years of experience
    • 2+ years of Manufacturing Experience

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence decisionmaking
    • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and drive change through process improvement initiatives
