    Description

    We are in search of an exceptional Product Owner at ValGenesis who is deeply passionate about innovating in the electronic logbook domain, specifically tailored for the life sciences industry. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our eLogbook solutions, ensuring they meet the stringent requirements of our clients and regulatory bodies. As a Product Owner, you will be the linchpin between our dynamic development teams, product management, and our valued stakeholders, guiding the product through its lifecycle from conception to delivery.

    Responsibilities

    • Forge a strong alliance with the Product Manager to ensure product vision, strategy, and roadmap are in perfect harmony with business goals.
    • Spearhead the product development process, advocating for the customer and ensuring the team's efforts align with user needs and market demands.
    • Empower and guide your team through clear communication, removing obstacles, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration. Engage in continuous dialogue with customers and internal stakeholders to gather nuanced insights, translating these into actionable product features and enhancements.
    • Prioritize and manage the trade-offs between feature requests, quality, and time to market in alignment with business goals.
    • Manage and present backlog items, as well as demos of new features, to internal stakeholders, including the leadership team.
    • Champion a user-centric development approach, embedding customer needs and feedback into every phase of the product lifecycle.
    • Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies, fostering an environment of collaboration, transparency, and high performance.
    • Drive research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of market trends and identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
    • Advocate for and implement best practices in software development, ensuring efficient and effective product delivery.
    • Define and monitor key performance indicators to measure product success and inform continuous improvement efforts.
    • Required Expertise and Skills:
    • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of translating and presenting complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
    • Proficient in crafting user stories, enhancing them with process flows and mockups using MS tools.
    • Agile champion with hands-on experience in Agile methodologies and tools, driving product development with flexibility, speed, and quality Leadership and social influence, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and customer-centricity within the team.
    • Proven expertise in electronic logbook solutions within the life sciences sector, with a deep understanding of digital record-keeping, data integrity, and compliance standards such as 21 CFR Part 11.
    • Strong foundation in automation systems, PLCs, SCADA, and industrial communication protocols, with the ability to integrate these technologies seamlessly into eLogbook solutions.
    • Knowledge of LIMS, MES, ERP, and DMS, and their interplay with electronic logbook systems, enhancing operational efficiency and compliance in GMP environments.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field, complemented by substantial experience in product ownership or similar roles within the life sciences technology sector.
    • Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality software products from inception to deployment, with a keen focus on user experience and regulatory compliance.
    • Proficiency in Agile tools and methodologies, product management software, and data analytics tools.

    • Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases, data warehousing, and integration tools, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure data management within eLogbook systems.
    • Experience with creating products and services on a platform.
