    Job Overview

    We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to join our team at Sanghvi . As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process and ensuring that our companys purchasing activities are conducted efficiently and cost-effectively. This is a mid-level role requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job location is Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and the employment type is full-time.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar procurement role
    • Strong knowledge of production planning, purchasing, and supply chain management
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Ability to develop and implement purchasing strategies
    • Good understanding of vendor contracts and legal terms
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
    • Proficiency in oral and written communication
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies that align with the company's goals and objectives
    • Identify potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong relationships with vendors
    • Oversee the procurement process from sourcing to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate order placement and tracking
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and optimize supply chain operations
    • Monitor market trends, pricing, and product availability to make informed purchasing decisions
    • Ensure compliance with procurement guidelines, ethical practices, and relevant regulations
    • Evaluate supplier performance, conduct supplier audits, and implement improvement measures
    • Manage a team of purchasing professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
