    About the Team

    The S&D vertical at Ninjacart is focused on the farm to retailer business of procuring from farmers and delivering to retailers - ensuring that farmers get paid the right price for their efforts and that retailers are able to get market quality produce delivered at their doorsteps.

    The last mile distribution is handled by our Distributor partners based out of our Micro Distribution Centres.

    As a part of the team, you will be in charge of managing the entire Sales & Distribution for the assigned territory.

    For this, you will need to handle a team of Business Development Executives driving Tonnage, Customer Retention and key growth initiatives.

    You will have a dedicated Partner Success Manager who will work as a liaison to handle the Distributor Partners responsible for handling the Last Mile Distribution, Cash Collection and Returns Liquidation.

    You will also have a dedicated Area Operations Manager who will assist you in handling the Last Mile Operations for the assigned territory.



    Responsibilities
    ● Driving, handling & monitoring the entire General Trade & distribution for assigned Zone/Area
    ● Delivery of Tonnage, Weekly Customer Retention and other key growth initiatives
    ● Managing Distributors in the assigned territory (Service & Hygiene Parameters)
    ● Exploring New customers / Channels for Growth
    ● Evaluating gaps at Category level & working with central team to bridge the same
    ● Improvement of Salesforce effectiveness
    ● Improving on-time delivery & customer experience

    • Coordinating with the multiple stakeholders (Trade marketing, Operations, Finance, HR etc.
    ,) to Improve the P&L for the assigned Area

    Team Management
    ● Lead, motivate, and support a team to successfully and strategically deliver on goals
    ● Responsible for mentoring, coaching and developing the team, recognizing strengths and weaknesses
    ● Create and maintain a team environment of continuous improvement and self-learning with a focus on team efficiency and productivity

    ● 4-10 Years of overall experience
    ● Bachelor's Degree/MBA preferred in the relevant field
    ● Distributor Handling Experience is a must
    ● Proven track record in Sales, Business development and winning new business
    ● Should be comfortable with extensive traveling
    ● Preferred experiences from FMCG / FMCD / Telecom or companies with field sales structure (Startup experience is an additional advantage)
    ● Intermediate skills in Excel (PIVOTS, VLOOKUPs etc)
    ● Local linguistic proficiency is Mandatory (Kannada in this case)
