    Description

    The company is expanding its team by hiring a Managing Associate in the IPR department on a retainer basis.


    A Patent Filing Managing Associate reports to a Partner. Stratjuris is seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about learning various processes related to Filing and Maintenance of Patents, Trademarks, Designs, and Copyrights.

    The candidate will go through a probation period of three months during which they will receive training on different aspects of Patents and other Intellectual Property Rights. Subsequently, the retainer position may be confirmed, depending on the performance during the probation period.

    Main responsibilities of the Retainer include:

    • Filing of Domestic Patent, Trademark, Copyright, and Design Applications using the electronic module
    • Filing of International Patent, Trademark, Copyright, and Design Applications via Overseas Associates
    • Understanding of International Filing Conventions like PCT, Madrid Protocol, Hague System.
    • Compliance with various Procedures under the Patent, Trademark, Design, and Copyright Laws
    • Maintenance of the electronic portal for Intellectual Property Cases
    • Writing Articles on various provisions under the IP Laws
    • Drafting and Sending Communication memos to Overseas and Domestic Clients
    • Team management and training junior staff.


    Requirements

    Experience

    Candidates should have 1 to 3 Years of relevant Experience to qualify for an interview for this role.

    Qualification

    The candidate should be a qualified Lawyer (LL.B) or have gained relevant experience in a Law Firm setting

    Location

    The role requires the candidate to work from the company's office in Baner, Pune.

    Retainership

    All recruitments are on a retainer basis, and there is no direct employer-employee relationship. A fixed Retainership fee is provided monthly after deducting Tax at Source @ 10%.

    Working Hours and Leaves

    The firm operates from 9.30 am to 6.30 pm (Monday to Friday)
