    Main Purpose of Job:
    • Join our dynamic team to strengthen the UK-India Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) relationship.
    • Lead the DBT Investment Team for Western India to drive high-value investments into the UK.
    • Build relationships with existing and potential investors across various sectors.
    • Work on investment initiatives to promote UK strengths and connect entrepreneurs with growth opportunities.
    • Demonstrate initiative, collaboration, and efficiency to achieve set objectives.
    Roles and Responsibilities:
    • Lead marketing efforts in Western India to attract high-value investment projects to the UK.
    • Engage with priority sectors and present the benefits of investing in the UK.
    • Develop campaigns to attract investments aligned with Government priorities.
    • Manage lead generation and financial activities of Western India Investment team.
    • Build and maintain a strong network of contacts across Indian and UK business sectors.
    • Facilitate visits by UK Ministers to strengthen business relationships.
    • Oversee team planning, performance, and development.
    • Manage high-profile investment accounts and contribute to the overall corporate agenda.
    Resources Managed:
    • 1xSEO, 4xHEO & 1xEO
    • £50k (subject to change based on budget)
    Language Requirements:

    Excellent spoken and written English.

    Qualifications and Experience:
    • 7+ years of commercial experience in relevant disciplines.
    • Team leadership and relationship management skills.
    • Knowledge of UK/India market and political environments.
    • Strong financial management and communication skills.
    • Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
    Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
    • Government setting experience.
    • Understanding of UK and Indian business environments.
