- Perform operational activities to support the Head Office, spanning: Australia, UK, Europe, and Asia, which includes accounts payable, intercompany transactions, expense management, accruals, prepayments, bank reconciliations and other related activities.
- Prepare financial models to calculate and post general ledger transaction
- Manage accurate and timely processing of day-to-day financial transactions
- Manage aspects from transactions -> reporting -> attestations for assigned Head Office entities
- Perform monthly reconciliation of ledgers and sub-ledgers
- Prepare Balance Sheet and P&L variance analysis reports and explanations for assigned entities
- Respond to inquiries and provide analysis of financial information as required
- Prepare regulatory returns for assigned entities (financial statements and tax related returns)
- Manage the external audit of allocated head office entities (by external auditors)
- Perform group consolidation including performance of monthly consolidation controls including FX translation, intercompany matching
- Interact constantly with Global finance teams to understand financial accounting performed in each location
- Review Pepper Group results
- You have a Accounting degree plus completion of accounting qualification (CPA/CA)
- You have at least 3 years of financial accounting experience, ideally 2 years+ in industry
- Experience preparing Financial Statements (under IFRS)
- You have strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- You have fluent speaking and writing skills

The Role
We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant – Group Finance to join our Global Finance team. Based in India and supporting all Head Office entities (Australia, UK, Europe, and Asia) through performing operational activities, this role is an excellent opportunity for a person with financial accounting background. You will report directly to the Senior Financial Accountant.
