- Responsible for Sales & Business Development for India region for Pharmaceutical Rigid Packaging portfolio.
- Review existing ALPLA portfolio and recommend key articles based on market needs.
- Leverage existing relationships to establish a strong client base to meet revenue targets.
- Travel locally, domestically, and internationally for sales activity to clients.
- Create competitive offers and realize sales opportunities in an efficient timeframe.
- Develop and strengthen client relationships at various levels.
- Create a pipeline of future opportunities for pharma packaging based on current and future market trends.
- Operate in alignment with strategic direction provided by Regional & Global Leadership
- Retain & grow sales and marketing personnel to develop an established sales organization.
- Interface seamlessly with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Procurement & Operations and " HQ in Austria" to represent and serve the needs of customers.
- Experience in pharmaceutical packaging sales.
- 12-15 years+ experience with 5+ years in a managerial role. Experience working in a multinational environment will be an added advantage.
- Existing relationships with large and medium size pharma companies at various levels
- Track record of consistently growing sales & business development
- Understanding of commercial structures and pricing for packaging and overall development process in Pharma
- Understanding of regulatory needs for domestic and regulated markets.
- Strong abilities in directing customers towards their desired goals or strategies.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders within a team environment.
- Documentation management
- Compelling skills in guiding customers towards desired outcome or approach.
- Ability to work in a greenfield environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
