    Description

    This position is based in MUMBAI, India and is for a PR professional with 3 years of PR agency experience and looking to work with some stellar hospitality and luxe hospitality brands. A person who has domain experience on the agency side, with exposure to any of the following verticals would be preferred - hospitality, travel and tourism.

    As a senior public relations executive, one is expected to have good command and knowledge of the PR industry and a network of media and influencer relationships in the verticals above. The person should already be familiar with the basics of being a PR professional and be ready to take on additional tactical capabilities inclusive of client servicing. The senior PR executive role would cover some of the following and more:

    A)Execution:

    1. Client Servicing:
    2. Maintaining client relations & offer top quality client servicing
    3. Understand client goals and brief, offering PR solutions to meet those
    4. Execute the PR strategy and have the ability to ideate with the client to develop the same
    5. Position the client brand amongst different stakeholder groups in the marketplace

    B) Media Relations

    1. Make effective story pitches to media personnel, editors, social media influencers and journalists
    2. Ability to get client sound bites into industry stories in leading publications, online and on social media
    3. Ability to get interviews, exclusives and coverage for the client
    4. Ability to write engaging press material & social media content
    5. Cultivating media contacts (Print, TV, Online | Client specific verticals)
    6. Maintaining relationships amongst key stakeholders (broader marketing thinking)

    C) Content Curation

    1. Ability to write press releases and short 600 to 800-word articles
    2. Ability to coordinate client-related events and make a monthly PR dossier
    3. Should have the ability to work with social media and online influencers - Select target, approach and convert to impactful expression for client brands

    D. Reporting & Administration:

    • Weekly and monthly reports on client activity via WIP reports
    • Clip sheet construction (making simple & effective clip sheets)
    • Maintaining media lists (should be familiar with using Word & Excel for lists)
    • Effective summary and minutes of client meetings
    • Weekly project report
    • Media list updating
