    You will be working as Procurement Specialist at global grade 15 and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for BA Function Operation Centers and Quality division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Global Procurement Manager and will be responsible for designing and implementing plans for local sourcing to reach the business targets. Supporting regional and global sourcing initiatives as required. Supporting specific assigned tasks related to sourcing, like e-sourcing activities while working for GBS centers.

    Your responsibilities

    • Applying and implementing PL standards, tools and processes in the area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost and sustainability
    • Creating and updating reports, as required, following the ABB standards. Executing and implementing new directions within the area of responsibility
    • Applying standards on health, safety, environment and business ethics within operational work, contract management and negotiations
    • Delivering and participating in training programs as required for compliance and professional development
    • Executing effective and transparent communication internally and externally between different units and centers
    • Standardizing processes and implementing routines as per Group directives or instructions

    Your background

    • Diploma or BE or B Tech in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
    • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in procurement activities and drive implementation of global initiatives like standardization towards PABA business
    • Knowledge on PowerBi dashboards and e-sourcing tools(Sap ARIBA)
    • Good communication skills, confident, independent and able to collaborate the team working in the project
