- Lead and manage a team of pre-sales specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure their success.
- Collaborate with the sales leadership team to define pre-sales objectives, targets, and strategies aligned with the company's overall goals.
- Overseeing the pre-sales process from lead qualification to solution design, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for potential customers.
- Work closely with the product development team to understand product capabilities, enhancements, and roadmap to position our solutions in the market effectively.
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to drive collaboration and alignment.
- Participate in customer meetings, demonstrations, presentations, and negotiations to showcase the value proposition of our solutions and address customer requirements.
- Provide strategic input and feedback to product management and marketing teams based on customer insights and market trends.
- Monitor and analyse pre-sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing initiatives to optimise productivity and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or related field, or an MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.
- 9+ years of experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role, with at least five years in a leadership or management position, preferably in the SaaS industry.
- A proven track record of success in driving pre-sales activities, achieving revenue targets, and managing a high-performing team.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards common goals.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and the ability to anticipate and address customer needs effectively.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices, with experience in CRM systems such as HubSpot.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and business requirements.
