Software Development Engineer in Test - 1

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join our dynamic cross-functional Agile team.

As an SDET, you will collaborate closely with Product and Development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop comprehensive manual and automated test plans from business requirements.
  • Design, maintain, and execute automated test suites using industrystandard tools and frameworks to cover both functional and nonfunctional use cases.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to facilitate highquality software releases.
  • Provide insightful feedback on the impact of requirements to the product manager/owner.
  • Proficient in writing code snippets and validating API endpoints.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for issues in the QA environment.
  • Demonstrate domain expertise in external product integrations and dependencies.
  • Identify and document defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, testing, and automation.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java.
  • Proficiency in coding, design, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in a full project testing life cycle, including test case creation, script development, and manual and automated testing.
  • Automation skills and experience using tools including Selenium WebDriver, Postman, and mabl.
  • Strong experience in Agile development methodologies, common testing practices, and utilizing technologies.
  • Familiarity with Relational databases.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in manual testing, performance testing, analysing test logs, creating test reports, and reporting regularly.

Nice to Have:


  • Supply Chain Domain Knowledge/Experience.
  • Familiarity with nonfunctional automation tools like J-Meter for load testing.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
