    Project Management Officer - bangalore, India - Infinite Computer Solutions

    Description
    We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented PMO with excellent communication skills to join our team.

    As a PMO , you will play a key role in supporting project management activities, stakeholder management, vendor management, resource management, and ensuring the smooth operation of our project management office.


    Responsibilities :

    • Project Support: Assist project managers in planning, organizing, and executing project activities.
    • Provide administrative support for project documentation, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and tracking action items.
    • Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and external vendors.
    • Coordinate meetings, gather requirements, and ensure alignment between project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
    • Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors and suppliers to procure goods and services required for project execution.
    • Negotiate contracts, review vendor proposals, and ensure compliance with project requirements and budget constraints.
    • Resource Management: Assist in resource allocation and capacity planning for project teams.
    • Maintain resource schedules, track resource utilization, and identify potential resource constraints or bottlenecks.
    • Reporting and Analytics: Prepare regular status reports, dashboards, and presentations to provide visibility into project progress, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Utilize tools such as Excel and PowerPoint to analyze data and present findings to project stakeholders.
    • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within the project management office.
    • Implement best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and tools to streamline project delivery and enhance organizational effectiveness.

    Assist project managers in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and issues.

    • Maintain risk and issue registers, track mitigation actions, and escalate critical issues to senior management as needed.
    • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and governance frameworks.
    • Conduct quality reviews of project deliverables to verify adherence to project requirements and quality standards.
    • Training and Development: Provide guidance and support to project team members on project management processes, tools, and methodologies.
    • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance project management capabilities across the organization.

    Requirements :

    • Degree in a related field.
    • Proven experience in project management office (PMO) coordination or project support roles.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
    • Experience in stakeholder management, vendor management, and resource management.
    • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
    • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus.
    • Experience in the IT industry or technology projects is preferred.
