    Description

    Overall objective:

    Work closely with teams (including conducting field visits) to conduct quality tests, liaise with external agencies for carrying out tests on own brand products and imported partner brand products and also establishing quality procedures.

    Responsibilities

    - the innovation network to deliver new product funnel (Including pricing, positioning, product, and packaging).
    - vendors (product, packaging) for different segments in the beauty and personal care category.
    - vendors based on commercial and quality parameters.
    - working with product vendors at development stage.
    - with packaging and product vendors to deliver launch on time
    - and build 'opportunities for growth' via technology scanning, understanding competitor product strategies in the Cosmetic domain.
    - ideas for communication of differentiated claims, substantiated by rigorous scientific data.
    - manufacturing locations to standardise shades and collections.
    - with manufacturing units to improve processes and Quality.
    - with factory team to facilitate packing and filling trials
    - research on new active ingredients and competitive benchmarks
    - causes of quality problems and proposing solutions

    Work experience

    4- 10 years of work experience on managing quality / manufacturing (cosmetics manufacturing knowledge required) at a leading FMCG company

    Education

    Bachelor's degree in engineering or science

    Skills & Competencies required

    - have worked with contract manufacturers and testing labs (mandatory experience with cosmetics)
    - understanding of cosmetics contract manufacturing process
    - with regulations and standards of cosmetics manufacturing
    - experience in quantitative analysis
    - in personnel management and building good working relationships
    - personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to corporate mission
    - to be flexible and multitask
    - have very good oral & written English communication
