    Description
    Essential Skills :
    Cassandra DBA (L2/L3), Secondary skills - Oracle DBA.

    Roles and Responsibilities :


    • Participate and assist in production data clusters and related processes
    • Install, test, and configure the databases using Cassandra
    • Create code as infrastructure pipelines using AWS cloud services
    • Participate in the standard SDLC process using agile methodology and testdriven approach.
    • Process huge amounts of data in a reliable manner
    • Ensure secure and robust deployment of Cassandra databases
    • Knowledge of production infrastructure management, tuning and automation
    • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environment
    • Great analytical and problemsolving skills
    • Work closely with stakeholders (onshore and offshore) to troubleshoot live application issues in the timely fashion (CMD, Outages etc.)
    • Recommend database configuration changes to increase database performance to the Database Professionals
    • Work collaboratively with Development, Application Support and Quality Assurance teams
    • Designing architecture for high availability database and securityfirst approach, sizing/scalability, and performance
    • Facilitate to upskill team through technical training sessions and enable talent transformation
    • Continuously assess and find automation solutions in the daytoday activities
    • Should be a strategic thought partner to Influence the senior leadership to adapt and drive efficiency improvements.
    Primary Skills:
    CASSANDRA


    • Strong understanding of Cassandra Database Administration
    • Strong understanding of Cassandra Data Modeling and Troubleshooting
    • Expertise in Cassandra Cluster Performance tuning
    • Strong knowledge in AWS Cloud Platform tasks.
    • Sound knowledge of Container platforms , Kubernetes
    • Strong knowledge in linux shell scripting
    • Knowledge of Kafka, Flink, and Spark
    • Strong knowledge in Database DevOps principles
    • Strong knowledge in developing functional logics in Cassandra
    • Expertise in Cassandra Data Refresh
    • Sound knowledge of DevOps tools, Ansible , Jenkins, Docker,Flyway, Liquibase and GitLab / GitOps
    • Exposure to monitoring tools like NewRelic, Prometheus, Grafana , ElasticSearch etc and automation of monitoring
    • Exposure to Python scripting is an added advantage
    • Production support functions for DB maintenance and outage management
    • Strong knowledge of JVM management and troubleshooting
    • Knowledge of Red Hat Openshift is an added advantage
    Secondary Skills - ORACLE

    • Core competency in Oracle 11g/12c/ 19c
    • Excellent experience in Oracle Cloud, Exadata, Autonomous Database.
    • Handon experience in

    • Oracle OEM, Script-Based Tools


    • HA & replication

    • Oracle Data Guard, Log Miner & RAC.


    • Backup Solutions

    • Oracle RMAN, Data pump, Export/Import
    • Good understanding of OCI, AWS RDS and EC2 instances.
    • Expert in database and system level tuning, ability to review all Oracle and system performance reports (AWR, ADDM, ASH Reports)
