    Description


    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Firmware Team Lead to join our team and play a vital role in leading, motivating, and guiding a team of talented firmware engineers.

    The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in firmware development, proven leadership qualities, and a passion for innovation and delivering high-quality products.


    Responsibilities :

    Leadership and Team Management :

    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of firmware engineers.
    • Foster a collaborative and resultsoriented team environment that promotes learning and growth.
    • Delegate tasks effectively, motivate team members, and ensure they have the resources and support needed to succeed.
    • Conduct performance reviews and identify opportunities for professional development within the team.

    Technical Expertise :

    • Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex firmware solutions for embedded systems.
    • Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and project deadlines.
    • Review and approve code written by team members, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
    • Troubleshoot complex firmware issues and identify root causes.

    Project Management :

    • Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications.
    • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
    • Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
    • Track project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively address them.

    Communication and Collaboration :

    • Communicate effectively with internal teams (hardware, software, etc.) and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
    • Present project updates, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.

    Requirements :

    • 7 to 12 years of experience in firmware development for embedded systems.
    • Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers.
    • Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture, hardwaresoftware interfaces, and realtime operating systems (RTOS) (a plus).
    • Indepth knowledge of firmware development methodologies, tools, and best practices (e.g., version control systems, debugging tools).
    • Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
    • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead by example.
    • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.
