    Description
    Overview

    This role requires a strong background in analytics, prior team management experience, and functional knowledge of the CPG industry, preferably foods and North America retail trends. By leading a team of analysts, the incumbent will be responsible for managing reporting and analytics deliverables, driving process transformation, and leveraging advanced analytics techniques to generate actionable insights.

    Responsibilities

    Functional Responsibilities:

    · Manage a team of 4-5 analysts to ensure timely and accurate delivery of reporting and analytics projects.

    · Lead process transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the analytics team.

    · Utilize tools such as Snowflake, Azure, Python, PowerBI, and SQL to extract, analyze, and visualize data for insights generation.

    · Apply functional knowledge of the CPG industry, with a focus on foods, to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.

    · Lead data science projects including price elasticity analysis, promotional uplifts, forecasting, prediction, etc.

    · Generate actionable insights from data analysis to support strategic decision-making.

    · Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders to understand their business needs and priorities.

    · Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to foster their professional development and growth.

    · Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations in all analytics activities.

    · Ensure delivery of accurate and timely data in accordance with agreed service level agreement

    · Focus on speed of execution and quality of service delivery rather than achievement of SLAs

    · Scale-up operation in-line with business growth, both within existing scope, as well as new areas of opportunity

    · Proven experience using PowerPoint and ability to producing visually compelling presentations ( beyond just operating the software) that are impactful with a senior audience.

    Qualifications

    · Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred. Degree in data science is a plus.

    · 8+ years of experience in analytics, with a focus on the CPG industry.

    · Prior experience in team management and leadership roles.

    · Strong proficiency in tools such as Snowflake, Azure, Python, PowerBI, and SQL.

    · Experience leading data science projects including price elasticity analysis, promotional uplifts, forecasting, prediction, etc.

    · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

    · Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

    · Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders.

    · Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

    · Strong Change Management Skills: Follow Up, Follow Through, Accountability, Sense of Urgency and superior customer service

    · Ability to provide new ways of approaching situations and developing new efficient solutions

    · Data Science Proficiency: Mastery of advanced analytics techniques and tools empowers the candidate to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.

    · Process Transformation Skills: Proven ability to drive process improvements within the analytics team, fostering efficiency and effectiveness.

    · Senior Stakeholder Management: Strong track record of building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment of analytics initiatives with business objectives.

    Team Leadership: Demonstrated leadership in guiding and developing team members, fostering collaboration and high performance.
