    Job Duties
    • Patient Assessment: Physicaltherapists evaluate patients to determine their physical conditionfunctional limitations and rehabilitationneeds.
    • They may review medical history conductphysical examinations and perform various assessments to diagnoseand understand the patientscondition.
    • Treatment Planning: Based on theirassessment physical therapists develop individualized treatmentplans that set goals and objectives for the patientsrehabilitation. These plans consider the patients specific needscondition and any existing medicalconditions.
    • Therapeutic Interventions: Physicaltherapists use a range of techniques and modalities to helppatients regain their physical function and mobility. This caninclude exercises manual therapy therapeutic modalities (such asultrasound or electrical stimulation) and specializedequipment.
    • Exercise Prescription: Physicaltherapists design and prescribe exercise programs that targetstrength flexibility endurance balance and coordination. Theyeducate patients on proper techniques and monitor theirprogress.
    • Manual Therapy: This includestechniques like joint mobilization soft tissue massage andmanipulation to improve mobility and reducepain.
    • Assistive Devices: Physical therapistsmay recommend and help patients use assistive devices like crutchescanes walkers or orthotic devices to aid in mobility andrecovery.
