    SAP BO Operations:

    Job Seniority: Advanced (3-5yrs)

    Location: Pune, Maharashtra

    Budget -12 LPA MAX

    Key responsibilities:

    • Perform Development & Support activities for the Data warehousing domain using Reporting Tools and Technologies – primarily on Business Objects reporting tool
    • Handle Production Issues (Tier 1/2/3 Support) to resolve production issues & ensure SLAs are met
    • Operational support for production and non-production systems in the business intelligence domain, mainly focused on the Business Objects admin activities, job scheduling, user management, universe connections set up, universe migrations and troubleshooting, etc.
    • Interact with the customer and help to resolve the issues, coordinate with multiple stakeholders involved, manage the system outage situations, and work closely with the incident management team.
    • You might be involved in some development activities as well occasionally. For such tasks, you need to understand High-Level Design, Application Interface Design & build Low-Level Design. Perform application analysis & propose technical solutions for application enhancement or resolve production issues. Should be able to Code, Unit Test & Deploy.
    • Creation of necessary documentation for all project deliverable phases
    • Release Deployment support may require working on the weekends occasionally.

    Technical Skills:

    Mandatory

    • 3+ Experience in administration of SAP Business Objects (user management, jobs administrations, datastore/connection definitions, workflow, Mapping, etc.)
    • 4+ Hands-on in supporting production systems.
    • 4+ Hands on in Unix & advanced Unix Shell Scripting
    • Ability to write complex SQL & performance tune them.
    • 4+ Hands-on with Databases like Oracle, Snowflake
    • Hands-on file transfer mechanism (NAS, sFTP, connect-direct, etc.)

    Good to have

    • Experience in the administration of Business Objects (user management, jobs administrations, datastore/connection definitions, workflow, Mapping, etc.) will be an added advantage.
    • Exposure to Azure cloud and associated deployment and support of applications on the cloud will be advantageous
    • Knowledge on Power-BI will be an added advantage.
    • Willingness to learn all data warehousing technologies & perform out of the comfort zone in other ETL or reporting technologies.
