    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    This role is part of the CIT Platform Engineering Group. The Platform Engineering team extends its capability beyond offering DevSecOps platforms to include SaaS Operations through Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

    This job requires the candidate to have strong experience in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering space and good expertise & knowledge on implementing CI (Continuous Integration) and CD (Continuous Deployment) methodologies.

  • Take ownership of the Engineering activities on all allocated projects and proactively utilize methodologies, resources and techniques, maintaining the requisite schedule and quality standard.
  • Very good grasp on programming fundamentals and can whip up a script/ program as required.
  • Have hands on and implemented Application monitoring, Log management and Log aggregation tools.
  • Natural problem-solving ability, sharp reasoning and a logical bent.
  • Very Good written & verbal communications skills, inter personal skills to work with teams

    • Key Skills

  • Experience working on Cloud Technologies Azure (preferred) / AWS / GCP
  • Experience in Linux Operating System
  • Container Technologies – Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher
  • Experience in Continuous Integration using Jenkins & Azure Pipeline
  • Experience in continuous deployment of containerized Microservices on Azure / AWS using compute, storage and identity services
  • Terraform or CloudFormation

    • Good to have

  • Understanding of Product Life Cycle management in a applications/systems engineering environment, with focus on agile methodologies
  • Python, Groovy
  • Cloud Observability solutions

    • You will be successful in this role if you have:


    • Computer Science/EE undergraduate degree.


    • A minimum of 2 years of experience within a applications / systems engineering organization.


    • Ability to work in a global team, with multiple stakeholders across functions, business units and geographical regions


    • Team Player


    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good command over English language
