    Company Description

    Customized Energy Solutions (CES), a privately-held company, is a leading service provider of market intelligence and operational support services to companies participating in the retail and wholesale electric and natural gas markets. Utilizing deep know-how developed since the inception of the deregulated energy markets, CES provides accurate & timely analysis on regulatory changes, market opportunities, and operational efficiencies for electricity and natural gas commodities.

    We started our India operations as Customized Energy Solutions India Pvt. Ltd in 2010. CES India primarily focuses on emerging technologies that are disrupting energy industry. Energy storage, electric mobility, wholesale electricity markets, microgrids and renewable energy are the key areas of focus for the consulting arm of CES India, also known as, Emerging Technologies (ET).

    Battery testing services, Emerging Technologies (ET) consulting services, energy trading services and India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) are the key businesses operated by CES India.

    The India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) was launched in 2012 by Customized Energy Solutions to promote energy storage, electric mobility, green hydrogen & micro grid technologies and their applications in India. Please find more information on IESA at

    Job Description

    The Event Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all aspects of corporate events, including conferences, trade shows, and other special events. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of event management principles and practices, as well as experience in logistics, vendor coordination, and budget management.

    Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute event plans in accordance with company goals and objectives
  • Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and security
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure that all event needs are met
  • Manage event budget and ensure that expenses are within budget
  • Recruit and manage event staff
  • Evaluate event success and make recommendations for improvement
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in event management, with a focus on operations, logistics, and vendor coordination
  • Strong understanding of event management principles and practices
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
