    About the Role
    The Bhumi Fellowship looks for talented individuals to revolutionize the Indian education system. This program aims to make a positive impact on the lives of a million children within the next ten years.

    Roles & Responsibilities of Programme Manager:
    • Lead the development and implementation of the fellowship strategy
    • Design and lead the monitoring and evaluation of the program
    • Design and lead the implementation of Leadership & Development for the fellows and the staff team
    • Mentor and coach (Assistant) Program Managers across cities for excellent outcomes
    • Build partnerships within and outside Bhumi to enhance the fellowship model

    Preferred Education Qualification / Experience:
    • Experience of managing people/projects
    • Teaching and/or content creation experience is desirable
    • Any Graduate, postgraduate, or fellowship
    • Experience in managing/designing a fellowship would be advantageous

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Good people management skills
    • Understanding of pedagogical aspects in teaching children. Excellent people engagement, networking, and listening skills
    • Clarity on various curriculums used in India
    • Ability to drive outcome-oriented plans collaboratively
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Tamil
    • Proficiency in computer knowledge and MS Office
    • Emotional maturity and ability to empathize with team members' perspectives/needs
    • Resourceful team player with self-driven traits
    • Forward-looking thinker who actively seeks opportunities and provides solutions

    Other Information:
    • Scope: Full-time
    • Reporting to: Associate Director
    • Remuneration: Rs. 10-11 lakhs per annum, negotiable based on candidate's profile
    • Expected Joining Date: Immediate
    • Location: Chennai
    • Minimum commitment: Three years
