    Inviting applications for the role of Manager, Pricing & Promo Analytics

    We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical professional with expertise in clearance execution, pricing analytics, and promotion performance analysis to join our Price & Promo Analytics team.

    In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging data and analytics to optimize clearance strategies, analyze markdown effectiveness, and drive pricing decisions.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail merchandising analytics and a proven track record of delivering insights that impact business outcomes.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead clearance execution initiatives, including planning, execution, and analysis of clearance events to maximize sell-through and minimize margin erosion.
    • Conduct GM markdown and clearance analysis to assess the effectiveness of markdown strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Utilize pricing analytics techniques to optimize pricing strategies, including regular price, promotional price, and markdown pricing.
    • Perform promotion performance analysis to evaluate the impact of promotional activities on sales, margins, and customer behavior.
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to clearance execution, pricing, and promotions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, finance, and marketing, to develop and implement data-driven strategies to drive sales and profitability.
    • Support the development and execution of weekly price processes, including price changes, promotions, and markdowns.
    • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
    • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner through presentations, reports, and dashboards.
    • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in merchandising analytics and retail pricing.

    Qualifications we seek in you

    • Master's in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.

    Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

    • Proven experience in retail merchandising analytics, with a focus on clearance execution, pricing analytics, and promotion performance analysis.
    • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Python, R, SQL) for manipulating and analyzing large datasets.
    • Experience with statistical methods and techniques for analyzing and interpreting data.
    • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for creating dashboards and reports.
    • Deep understanding of retail merchandising principles, including pricing and promotions strategies.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Previous experience in a mentoring role is a plus.
