    The roleAs Senior Technical Business

    Analyst - Data, you will be part

    of our Business Analysis Chapter.

    With expertise in technical business analysis, you will be responsible for analysing complex data requirements and delivering data solutions on engagements with our partners.

    What you should expectYour responsibilities will include:Understanding business objectives and delivering quality data centric solutions aligned to the enterprise architecture

    Facilitating workshops to capture business processes and requirements, and translating them into functional designs

    Designing transformation logic that meets complex business requirements and work within cross-functional delivery teams to build solutions

    Understanding, analysing, and mapping data flows across technical environments and interfacing systems

    Analysing and designing data assets, integrating data from internal and external sources

    Assessing impacts of changes on existing business processes and working with business and change management to manage change

    Supporting and/or conducting testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, system testing and acceptance testing, ensuring adequate coverage

    Identifying project delivery issues and risks, assisting with mitigation strategies, and escalating where necessary

    Collaborating and communicating with business and delivery stakeholders and working without supervision

    Prioritising work and deliverables effectively to delivery within specified timeframes

    Developing and sharing industry leading standards and practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and effective risk management

    Mentoring and coaching team members

    What you will need to succeedBachelors degree or above qualification in IT, Software Engineering or Computer Science

    5+ years of technical business analysis experience

    Experienced in implementing industry leading standards and practices

    Solid experience working in large scale big data and data warehousing projects

    Strong capability and experience with modern data practices

    Solid understanding of data architecture and design principles

    Expert in data profiling, data analysis, SQL, and transformation logic

    Highly experience in documenting source to target mapping and analysing database logic

    Adept in ETL frameworks and data platforms such as Hadoop, Teradata, Snowflake, and Databricks

    Proficient with Jira and Confluence

    Strong understanding of data management, security and privacy practices

    Highly experience in agile methodology, continuous integration, test automation, and issue tracking

    Creative problem solver and drive continuous improvement

    Ability to lead with confidence and make sound recommendations when working with business and delivery stakeholders

    Experience working in financial services industry
