- Proficiency in APQP Process planning, focusing on interpreting product design requirements into manufacturing process design while considering safety, quality, takt time, line balancing, capacity planning, and production ramp.
- Experience in the Automotive Industry following IATF 16949 standards.
- Leadership in Lean manufacturing initiatives, including value stream mapping, material flow process optimization, plant layout, WIP reduction, inventory optimization, capacity and machine optimization, ergonomics improvement, and throughput enhancement.
- Development of equipment specifications, obtaining competitive quotes, overseeing trials, and managing installations and commissioning.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams throughout the product development phases to enhance process designs.
- Proficiency in core tools such as MSA, SPC, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, and Control Plan establishment.
- Troubleshooting manufacturing issues, implementing corrective actions, and problem-solving through lean six sigma tools.
- Knowledge of design software like Proe, Catia, Solidworks, and various manufacturing processes.
- Reporting on environmental health and safety concerns and ensuring safety audits and standards compliance.
- 10-15 years of experience in Auto Ancillaries.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma, with proficiency in Minitab.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Experience in lean manufacturing practices, VSM, Kanban, and Industrial Engineering.
- Knowledge of testing facilities development and quoting for future business needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electronics & Electrical or Mechatronics.
