    Description

    We are looking for a skilled and proactive NOC Engineer to join our team. As the first line of defense and Tier 1 support, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our services across various environments, with a key focus on AWS cloud:

    • **Monitoring and Alert Management:**
    • Constantly monitor production, staging, and other environments for alerts or anomalies
    • Respond promptly to alerts, assess severity, and take necessary actions to ensure service continuity.

    Incident Triage and Resolution:

    • **Act as the initial point of contact for all incidents related to service continuity.
      • Quickly assess and triage incidents, escalate to appropriate teams if needed, and drive them to resolution within defined SLAs.

    Proactive Issue Identification:

    • **Identify potential issues or concerns within AWS cloud that could impact service continuity.
      • Work closely with engineering and operations teams to address these issues proactively.

    Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

    • **Maintain comprehensive documentation of incidents, resolutions, and best practices.
      • Share insights with the team to enhance incident response and prevention processes.

    Collaboration and Communication:

    • **Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to address service continuity challenges.
      • Ensure clear and timely communication with stakeholders about incident status and resolution.

    Continuous Improvement:

    • **Seek opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and monitoring capabilities for better service continuity in AWS cloud.
      • Participate in post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned and implement preventive measures.

    Emergency Response:

    • **Be available for on-call rotations and respond to emergency situations outside regular business hours to ensure service stability.

    Requirements:

    • **4+ years of experience in a NOC/Service continuity team.
      • Good understanding of cloud computing principles and AWS services.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.Familiarity with networking troubleshooting and diagnostic tools.Experience with incident management processes and tools.Proficiency in monitoring and alerting tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or equivalents.Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a cloud-based setup focusing on AWS.AWS certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
