- Expand the company's presence in the outdoor retail sector through the identification and onboarding of new business partners.
- Open new stores in assigned territory and increase touch points
- Handling distributors, retailers and dealers and maintain healthy relation in the market.
- Foster strong relationships with key clients, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues promptly and effectively.
- Work with distributors to generate PO's
- Work with retailers to drive all secondary schemes effectively
- Execute offers and schemes effectively and increase off take at outlet
- Utilise POSM materials across all the stores and increase brand awareness
- Provide market feedback and competition feedback to management to take necessary steps.
- Provide market intelligence input to trade marketing / shopper marketing team and constantly monitor competitor actions in the market.
- Provide regular reports and feedback to the management team regarding market conditions and opportunities.
- Recruit, train, and manage high-performing promoters.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales objectives.
- Set and achieve set targets in the territory
- Co-ordinate with various internal teams to smoothen the operations
- Inventory management: collect inventory at most every 3 months from distributors and work with internal team to reconcile
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders like supply chain, logistics to ensure quality market services
- Reports as set by management to be filled in a timely manner
- Proven experience as an Business Development Executive / similar role preferably in an FMCG setup.
- Experience in GT & MT sales with 2-3 years of relevant work experience in reputed FMCG organizations.
- Excellent team management & communication skills.
- Strong understanding of the outdoor retail market in India.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

About the role
Born Good is looking for a motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to increase our outdoor sales and distribution efforts in India. This role is responsible for driving sales, increasing distribution reach, engaging channel partners, driving marketing execution, infrastructure planning & execution and to gain market share. Prior experience in handling stand-alone supermarkets and RMT( regional modern trade) is a must.
