    Description

    Job Description :

    Roles & Responsibilities :
    Understand system requirements, business needs and come up with optimal strategy for devops and infra management

    • Plan team priorities, design and feature estimates.
    • Install and maintain operating environments
    • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
    • Perform zero downtime deployments
    • Plan and implement effective disaster recovery. Automatic data backups, and restoration of production environments and databases
    • Enable effective monitoring to track system health and implement necessary alerts
    • Ensure all security policies are followed for infrastructure access
    • Review and ensure optimized cost for infrastructure and cloud services
    • Follow and propagate industry best practices for DevOps and AWS configurations
    Monitoring, reporting and execution to ensure compliance with IT Security & Data Privacy requirements.

    • Train and enable junior engineers

    Skills & Competencies Required :

    • Software Engineer with 6+ years of experience.
    • Expertise on AWS cloud platform. Has worked on provisioning, maintaining, and monitoring ESK, MSK, EC2, S3 & RDS services. Knowledgeable on Networking aspects on AWS (VPC, API Gateway, LB)
    • Expertise on deployment tools like Jenkins, or Bitbucket Pipelines
    • Proficient in scripting using one of the popular languages like bash, YAML, JavaScript, python etc.
    • Expertise in Containerization using Docker and Container orchestration using Kubernetes
    • Excellent command over Source Configuration Management tools like GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab, etc.
    • Experienced with SonarQube, JaCoCo, or similar tools for static code scanning
    • Experience on & APM solutions like Prometheus, Amazon cloud watch, New Relic, Dynatrace etc.
    • Excellent problemsolving, analytical skills and decision making capabilities
    • Preference for experience in tech startup (small company)
    • Good verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills
    • Experience with backend or frontend technologies is a plus.
