    Description
    Assistant Manager - Global Indirect Taxes and Trade Pune.


    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Draft various types of litigation and advisory related documents for providing indirect tax services. with GST, customs and other tax authorities to support the clients.
    Guide a team of 2-3 individuals for indirect tax related services.

    • Portfolio of clients and support the partner in providing global indirect tax and trade services.
    • Discuss with clients and provide solutions as well as close negotiations.
    • The partner in MIS and invoicing related support in respect of the existing clients.
    • Responsive to client demands, project deadlines, and addressing team queries and resolution; zero escalations from the client; to learn the subject matter and grow in the organisation.

    Role specific skillsets:

    • 45 years of experience in Indirect Tax including customs and FTP.
    • Must have an experience on indirect tax related advisories, litigations and liasoning with tax authorities. communications skills and stakeholder management experience; having an experience and ability in handling a team of 23 members.
    • Manage clients through improvement planning and long term vision of improving service levels.
    • Take ownership of his/her work and initiate required activities to get the results.
    • Solving attitude and willing to learn.
