    Description

    Job Description:
    We are seeking experienced Network Engineers to join our team for a large-scale migration project for network infrastructure.

    The ideal candidate will have prior experience with Routing and switching, Wireless, Meraki Networks and firewalls. Should also have experience in Cloud – AWS Technologies.


    As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful migration of network infrastructure while maintaining high levels of security, reliability, performance, and documentation.


    Responsibilities:

    • Plan, design, and implement the migration strategy understanding network infrastructure.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including network architects, security specialists, and project managers to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
    • Conduct thorough assessments of existing network configurations, policies, and security protocols to identify potential risks and challenges.
    • Configure and deploy Meraki Network, Wireless Access Points, firewall solutions based on project requirements and industry best practices.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolution during the migration process.
    • Document all migration activities, including network diagrams, configuration changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders throughout the migration project.
    • Stay updated with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in network security and firewall management, Meraki switching and wireless technologies.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on network support, network migrations, firewall management and network security.
    • Prior experience with large-scale migrations from Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto to Fortigate firewall solutions is highly desirable.
    • Prior experience in network migrations.
    • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing protocols, VLANs, and subnetting.
    • Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Wireless, Meraki Networks, Routing and switching issues, firewall policies, NAT, VPN, and IPSec tunnels.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
    • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
