    Job Description.


    Position Overview :
    We are seeking an experienced Windows Administrator with expertise in System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Vulnerability Management.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows server administration, patch management, SCCM deployment, and extensive experience in managing vulnerabilities across a diverse IT infrastructure.

    The role involves ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of Windows-based systems while actively monitoring, analyzing, and mitigating vulnerabilities to maintain a secure computing environment.


    Responsibilities :

    • Windows Server Administration :
    • Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
    • Perform routine system administration tasks such as user management, group policies, file system management, and system monitoring.

    SCCM Administration :

    • Design, implement, and maintain SCCM infrastructure to deploy software, updates, and patches across the enterprise environment.
    • Create and manage SCCM collections, advertisements, and deployments according to organizational requirements.
    • Troubleshoot SCCMrelated issues and provide resolution in a timely manner.
    • Stay updated with SCCM best practices, new features, and enhancements to optimize system efficiency.

    Patch Management :
    Develop and implement patch management strategies to ensure all Windows-based systems are up-to-date with security patches and updates.

    • Coordinate with system owners and stakeholders to schedule patch deployments and maintenance activities.
    • Monitor patch compliance and remediate any noncompliant systems promptly.
    • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and prioritize patches based on criticality and risk assessment.

    Vulnerability Management :

    • Implement and manage vulnerability scanning tools to identify security weaknesses and vulnerabilities within the infrastructure.
    • Analyze vulnerability scan results, categorize vulnerabilities based on severity, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop mitigation plans.
    • Track and report on the status of vulnerability remediation efforts, ensuring timely resolution of identified vulnerabilities.
    • Work closely with security teams to address emerging threats and security vulnerabilities effectively.

    Documentation and Reporting :
    Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

    • Generate regular reports on patching status, vulnerability assessments, and system health for management and stakeholders.
    • Provide insights and recommendations for improving patching processes, vulnerability management practices, and system security posture.

    Qualifications and Skills :

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • 8+ years of experience in Windows system administration, with a focus on SCCM and vulnerability management.
    • Indepth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
    • Proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining SCCM infrastructure for software deployment and patch management.
    • Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment tools, techniques, and best practices.
    • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or similar.
    • Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks related to vulnerability management (e.g., CVE, CVSS, CWE).
    • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
    • Relevant certifications such as MCSE, SCCM certification, or equivalent are preferred.
