    "AMS Support - Informatica, Teradata, AWS

    The Business&Data Analyst within MDM team has an upstream focus rather than development focus. Business&Data Analyst will be involved in one or several of following activities: Stakeholder requirements needs, end user studies, process definitions, pre-studies, modelling and design ideation to find the optimal solution.

    The Business&Data Analyst must have a good understanding of the business goals and stakeholder needs when working with Informatica C360/IICS. In the initial steps of professional development, the Business&Data Analyst works with the other team members (business stakeholders, technical developers and architect) and then slowly expands their area to a data domain and finally to the end-to-end business process knowledge.

    Responsibilities:


    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data/MDM requirements and identify opportunities for MDM to improve data quality, streamline processes, and enable accurate reporting and analysis.


    • Analyze existing data management processes and systems, identify pain points, and propose feasible MDM solutions to address the identified challenges.


    • Define and document business requirements, functional specifications, and data rules for projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise data governance policies and standards.


    • Collaborate with technical teams, including data architects and developers, to ensure accurate implementation of functional requirements within the MDM system.


    • Conduct data analysis to identify data matching issues, assess impact, and recommend appropriate data cleansing or remediation approaches.


    • Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), including gathering feedback from end-users, facilitating defect resolution, and verifying that the MDM solution meets business needs.


    • Provide end-user training and support for MDM systems, ensuring smooth adoption and understanding of MDM processes and functionalities.


    • Collaborate in Match & Merge analysis to iteratively improve matching quality.

    Requirements:


    • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in MDM or data management.


    • Knowledge of MDM principles, processes, and methodologies.


    • Knowledge of Informatica IDMC C360 and IDQ to accelerate adoption and leveraging on best practices.


    • Familiarity with data modeling concepts and techniques.


    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.


    • Proficient in using tools and querying languages like SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI).


    • Able to effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


    • Experience with data governance frameworks and data quality management is preferred.
