    Description
    We are seeking an experienced AV CAD Engineer to joinour team.

    As an AV CAD Engineer you will be responsible fordesigning and developing CAD models using various CAD tools such asProE Creo and AutoCAD.

    You will also be responsible for ensuringthat all designs comply with the AS9100Dframework.

    Responsibilities:

    Prepare and reviewBOM weight down chart drawing applicability list manuals etc.
    Interact with design consultants and create conceptmodels and sketches.
    Review BOM and drawings beforethey go for approval.
    Understand Engineering changenotes study the impact of change on the product before updating thedrawings.
    Coordinate with the manufacturing team duringassembly and testing.
    Supervise and maintain the latestBOM and drawing hard and soft copies.
    Complete thedocumentation related to the product as per the engineering plan.
    Check 3D models for completion and interference.
    Understand tolerances considering functionalrequirements test procedures material heat treatment andmanufacturing processes.
    Select material and specialprocesses required for the component based on the application ofthe component.
    Assist procurement by suggestingequivalent raw material and standard parts in case ofnonavailability.
    Take appropriate and optimumcorrective actions on parts with nonconformities under guidance.
    Previous experience in working for DRDO/PSU projects isan added advantage.
    Experience in design anddevelopment projects is desirable.
    Basic knowledge ofelectrical components and assemblies is desirable.
    Experience in working with the AS9100D framework is an addedadvantage.

    Requirements


    Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relatedfield.
    2 years of experience in CAD design.
    Expertise in ProE Creo and AutoCAD.
    Knowledge of theAS9100D framework.
    CAD certification ispreferred.
    Strong communication and collaborationskills.
    Good understanding of mechanisms fastenersetc.
    Good knowledge of engineering materials specialprocesses etc.
    Good knowledge of GD&TDimensioning Techniques fits allowancesetc.
