    Role Description

    This is a full-time role for a Teacher Acquisition Specialist at ipassio. The Teacher Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for acquiring and onboarding world-class teachers to offer their courses on the platform. They will also collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for attracting top talented teachers. This is an on-site role located in Bengaluru.

    Responsibilities

    1. Search for high-quality teachers across various hobby categories on the internet.
    2. Conduct cold calls to identified teachers to introduce them to the platform and its benefits.
    3. Explain key advantages of joining the online live learning platform and persuade teachers to come on board.
    4. Post calls and send follow-up emails inviting teachers to sign up and teach on the platform.
    5. Maintain regular communication and follow-up with interested teachers.
    6. Utilize CRM to automate and sequence email communications.
    7. Guide teachers through onboarding processes, course creation, and video introductions.

    Qualifications

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal and networking skills
    • Ability to source and evaluate potential teachers
    • Experience in teaching or training is a plus
    • Knowledge of Indian performing arts is a plus
    • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
