Coming out of a miserable feeling : A true Story

Coming out of a miserable feeling : A true Story

When people
are rude to you, they
reveal who they are, not
who you are. Don't take
it personally.

"A"  had some business association with "B" in the form of a land deal .The so called land deal was in a dispute and  soon I realized that they were dealing with a very difficult person who could even be unethical

Rudeness is the
weak person's
imitation of
strength.I told A: "Let us not do it .Also I am finding it difficult that you are dealing with B even after all these and that brought also A&S in to this because they also had land "interest",All this is making more and more difficult for me and I don't have any interest to meet any of these parties ..."

A's Reply : "********************"...That arrogant, rude  reply would always remain as a pain point.

You may like to read further the article and the short story below.

#I got very disappointed by certain series of events. It was taking twists and turns and I was finding it difficult to survive that episode back then.Thought I should fight for justice. Was absorbing it without complaining about it and realized that “I have to talk about it”.It may not be possible to convince others that they have done wrong!.Sometimes people(some!) don't want to accept .

Might probably be dealing with someone who doesn't even want to understand you .Or even pretending that they have NOT understood you.Later I realized the initial “wound” that was there was much “more manageable” than getting further “hurt” by “JUST” talking about it to let others know what was happening!. Oh God ..What an irony!

May be we could be more at ease by ignoring those things which remain unresolved in our heart?

Keeping all those things in the chest and moving around as if nothing has happened is definitely not an easy task. But moving the "unwanted thoughts " in the mind into recycle bin! is one step closer to getting back to the days of happiness...

Is it possible to have a controllable, predictable life for one?

May be it is an illusion.

Nothing stays the same forever including those feelings of having got hurt. Time heals and heal it should! I also learnt during these periods of struggle in my life to look at those little things which made me happy. Our mind goes running behind “obsessing” about the big things we can't do forgetting those little pleasures we have within our reach.I realized in a hard way that “Elements of uncertainty should motivate us to practice acceptance in our lives”.Think in a little unconventional manner and instead of “expecting the worst” assure yourself that you can handle any difficulty that might come.

Forget about those who does injustice to you?..Yes!..Instead go ahead with your work and look for the light at the end of the tunnel.

Outside world can only invite us to become upset, but we can decide on whether to accept the invitation or not....

132cdc22.jpg"In a forest, a pregnant deer is about to give birth. She finds a remote grass field near a strong-flowing river.     This seems a safe place.Suddenly lab-our pains begin. At the same moment, dark clouds gather around above & lightning starts a forest fire. She looks to her left & sees a hunter with his bow extended pointing at her.

To her right, she spots a hungry lion approaching her.

What can the pregnant deer do?

She is in labor!

What will happen?

Will the deer survive?   Will she give birth to a fawn?
Will the fawn survive?
Or will everything be burnt by the forest fire?
Will she perish to the hunters’ arrow?

Will she die a horrible death at the hands of the hungry lion approaching her?

She is constrained by the fire on the one side & the flowing river on the other & boxed in by her natural predators.

What does she do?

She focuses on giving birth to a new life.

The sequence of events that follows are:-

Lightning strikes & blinds the hunter.
- He releases the arrow which zips past the deer & strikes the hungry lion.
- It starts to rain heavily, & the forest fire is slowly doused by the rain.
- The deer gives birth to a healthy fawn.
In our life too, there are moments of choice when we are confronted on αll sides with negative thoughts and possibilities.
Some thoughts are so powerful that they overcome us & overwhelm us.
Maybe we can learn from the deer....The priority of the deer, in that given moment, was simply to give birth to a baby.
The rest was not in her hands & any action or reaction that changed her focus would have likely resulted in death or disaster"

Ask yourself,....Where is your focus?....Where is your faith and hope?

In the midst of any storm? Keep going ...One of the best I have read

Indeed, rude people are like merchants of mockery who know well how to deride others, mishmash others’ sincere commitments and try to misrule things with their foolish fancies. Such harsh people will be left isolated, friendless in their own wilderness. Thanks for adding the story of innocent, yet unwavering deer. That shows how when we remain firm in our perseverance, then there comes celestial succor. Keep on buzzing!

This is a great story and I love how you added the story of the deer at the end. "Some thoughts are so powerful that they overcome us & overwhelm us. Maybe we can learn from the deer....The priority of the deer, in that given moment, was simply to give birth to a baby. The rest was not in her hands & any action or reaction that changed her focus would have likely resulted in death or disaster" Ask yourself,....Where is your focus?....Where is your faith and hope?" Many times we have to rely on faith and hope! Very inspirational.
