    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related 6 plus years of experience is Python for data analysis is mandatory.8 plus years of experience working with Collibra Data Governance Center, including configuration, administration, and data lineage.

    Collibra certification(s) preferred.

    The Data Governance/Data Lineage Specialist with expertise in Collibra, Metadata Management, and Data Quality is responsible for leading initiatives to establish and maintain robust data governance frameworks, document data lineage processes, manage metadata, and ensure data quality within the organization.

    This role requires a deep understanding of Collibra's platform, metadata management principles, and data quality best practices.1.

    Collibra Configuration :
    Configure and administer Collibra Data Governance Center to support organizational data governance initiatives.
    Customize Collibra workflows, data models, and dashboards to meet business requirements.
    Administer user access controls and permissions within Collibra platform.2.

    Data Lineage:
    Define and document end-to-end data lineage using Collibra's Data Lineage capabilities.
    Map data sources, transformations, and destinations to establish comprehensive data lineage.
    Implement and maintain metadata management processes within Collibra to track lineage, data quality, and compliance.3.

    Metadata Management:
    Establish metadata management processes and standards within Collibra Data Governance Center.
    Define metadata attributes, relationships, and taxonomies to enhance data discovery and understanding.
    Ensure consistency and accuracy of metadata across all data assets and systems.4.

    Data Quality Management:
    Define data quality metrics, rules, and standards within Collibra to assess and improve data quality.
    Monitor data quality issues, root causes, and trends using Collibra's data quality capabilities.
    Collaborate with stakeholders to implement data quality improvement initiatives and remediation plans.5.

    Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
    Work closely with business units, IT teams, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and objectives.
    Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on using Collibra for data governance, metadata management, and data quality.
    Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to resolve data governance issues and drive continuous improvement.
    Other skills needed for this role.
    Strong understanding of metadata management principles, data quality frameworks, and best practices.
    Experience in implementing and managing metadata management processes within Collibra.
    Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and data modeling.
    Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
