    Location : Pune / Bangalore

    Join us as a VP - Data Management & Governance Lead, reporting directly to head of DAAS (Data AI & Analytics Services), specializing in Azure and AWS. In this role, you'll

    • robust data governance, mesh architecture, MDM strategies, and data product development in the insurance sector.
    • with teams to define policies, ensure compliance, architect solutions, and implement frameworks leveraging Azure and AWS.
    • innovative data products and monetization strategies, contributing to business value and revenue growth.

    Technical skills:

    Expertise is required in the following fields:

    • experience in defining and implementing enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance within Azure and AWS environments.
    • proficiency in architecting and implementing data mesh solutions specifically leveraging Azure and AWS services, including designing domain-oriented data architectures, data products, and data access patterns.
    • and implement strategies for decentralized data architecture
    • data integration, data governance, and data quality assurance
    • domain-specific data products, data pipelines, and data access patterns
    • expertise in data modeling, data storage, and data processing technologies
    • in cloud-based data platforms and distributed computing frameworks
    • with cross-functional teams to establish data ownership and access controls
    • compliance with data security and privacy regulations
    • cultural change towards a domain-oriented data mindset
    • a data-driven culture within the organization
    • understanding of AI, Data Science in Data Product context
    • with advanced data management principles and best practices within Azure and AWS environments, including data modeling, data lineage, data cataloging, and metadata management leveraging Azure services like Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, AWS services like AWS Lake Formation, AWS Glue, and others.

    Soft skills:

    • track record of leading and managing cross-functional Analytics team including data governance and MDM within Azure and AWS environments
    • results-orientation and effective time management skills to lead data governance and MDM initiatives within Azure and AWS environments, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of strategic objectives.
    • communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership, business users, and technical teams, within Azure and AWS environments.
    • mindset with the capability to envision and execute long-term data management strategies within Azure and AWS environments, aligning with business goals and industry best practices.

    Background and experience:

    • of 20 years of progressive experience in data management, governance, and MDM-related roles
    • leadership and strategic planning skills are crucial for this role, as you would be responsible for aligning the Data Mesh strategy with the overall business objectives and leading a team of data professionals.
