    MedInsight is a subsidiary of Milliman, is one of the healthcare industry's most highly regarded platforms for data warehousing and healthcare analytics. MedInsight solutions have been adopted by over 300 health plans, employers, at-risk providers and ACOs, state governments, community health coalitions, and third-party administrators. MedInsight also offers standalone products that provide preconfigured or custom reporting and data configurations that can address specific business needs.
    Job Overview:
    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support our US HR operations from our India office. The HR Assistant will play a crucial role in assisting with HR functions and duties, coordinating with our US-based HR team, and ensuring seamless HR operations across multiple time zones. The ideal candidate will have an educational background in Human Resources or broad knowledge of Human Resources through work experience, preferably experience with US labor laws, and experience in managing administrative responsibilities. Candidates must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule to accommodate US operating hours as required.
    Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties for US operations.
  • Provide administrative support to the US-based Human Resources team.
  • Compile and update employee records and maintain internal tracking tools.
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations, etc.)
  • Initiate background checks and manage pre-employment verification process for US employees.
  • Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys, etc.)
  • Job posting management (UKG, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Coordinate communication with US-based candidates and schedule interviews.
  • Manage US-based candidate SQL Assessments (review candidate progress, communicate results, manage, and track testing credits)
  • Manage US-based candidates pre-recorded interviewing process in Yello
  • Manage employee referral program.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and other ad hoc new hire events.
  • Support local India HR team with ad hoc projects as required.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with under a year of experience as an HR assistant or, staff assistant
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multitask effectively.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, in particular)
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work in different time zones to support US operations.
  • Hands-on experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS is a plus.
  • Understanding US labor laws is a plus.
