    ROLE OVERVIEW:

    As a Technical Product Owner, you play a pivotal role in analyzing and clarifying requirements, as well as creating user stories for Caterpillar's cutting-edge digital applications.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Maximize the product's value and the Development Team's efforts
    • Create, maintain, and prioritize the Product Backlog based on business value throughout the product's lifecycle
    • Communicate Product Backlog priorities clearly to the team
    • Make decisions on the product's features
    • Translate epics, themes, and features into actionable user stories
    • Share the vision and goals at the start of each sprint
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization
    • Determine release dates and content
    • Act as the customer's advocate and engage with them
    • Participate in agile ceremonies such as Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning meetings, and Retrospectives
    • Review the product progress at the end of each sprint and provide feedback to the Development Team
    • Serve as the team's representative and update stakeholders on project status
    • Exemplify Scrum values and understand team roles within the framework
    • Promote agile practices and foster the community within the organization

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • A four-year degree from an accredited college or university
    • 3+ years of experience in software requirement analysis for B2B eCommerce
    • 5+ years in the Software Industry

    • Strong business and technical acumen
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
    • Deep understanding of software development processes
    • Excellent Business Analysis skills translating requirements into software features
    • Advanced problem-solving abilities
    • Outstanding communication skills
    • Team player mentality with a drive for continuous learning and development
    • Self-motivated and passionate about professional growth
    • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar agile tools
    • Proactive in exploring new technologies for problem-solving
    • Proficient in problem decomposition and effort estimation
    • Experience in Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies
