- Develop and maintain complex Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize business data and KPIs.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design and implement efficient data models and ETL processes to support Power BI solutions.
- Optimize Power BI queries, data models, and reports for performance and scalability.
- Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices within Power BI solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on Power BI development best practices.
- Stay abreast of the latest Power BI features, updates, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with other teams, such as data engineering and business analytics, to integrate Power BI solutions into broader data ecosystems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
- Expertise in Power BI Desktop, including data modeling, DAX calculations, and report development.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Experience with advanced Power BI features such as custom visuals, Power Query M language, and Power BI Service.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Microsoft Power BI certification is a plus.
