    Overall GCC Workday IT Team Lead

    This position reports into the Corporate Tech & Data organization and is based in Skillman, NJ.

    We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Overall GCC Workday IT Team Lead to join our Corporate Technology and Data team at Kenvue. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving the successful implementation, optimization, and overall management of our Workday technology solutions. As a senior leader, you will lead and manage a team as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering a seamless and efficient Workday experience as well as outcomes that matter for our people.

    Key Responsibilities:

    The Overall GCC Workday IT Team Lead will:

    • Provide strategic leadership to the Workday IT team overseeing various roles such as Workday Integrations Lead, Workday Configuration Lead, Workday Prism, Reporting Lead, Workday Extend Integrations Lead, and other relevant roles.
    • Lead and manage a team of Workday professionals ensuring effective collaboration, mentorship, and development.
    • Oversee the successful execution of Workday projects ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders including HR, IT, and business leaders, to understand organizational needs and drive Workday initiatives accordingly.
    • Contribute to the development and execution of the Workday technology roadmap ensuring it aligns with the organization's long-term goals.
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in Workday processes technologies and team performance.
    • Act as a point of escalation for complex issues providing guidance and support for effective resolution.
    • Manage relationships with Workday and other relevant vendors ensuring effective utilization of technology solutions.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the Workday IT team, promoting innovation and efficiency.
    • Ensure effective communication within the team and with stakeholders keeping all parties informed of project statuses, challenges, and successes.

    What we are looking for:

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
    • Proven experience (8+ years) in a leadership role overseeing Workday implementations, integrations, configurations, and reporting.
    • Workday modules: Core HCM, Security, Reporting, Extend workday, Prism.
    • Experience in managing a team of Developers.
    • Project Management experience.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing IT teams.
    • Strong project management skills, including task prioritization, timeline management, and successful project delivery.
    • Ability to effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders at various levels in the organization.
    • Strategic thinking and big-picture orientation with a focus on aligning technology initiatives with business goals.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing IT teams.
    • Practical experience in applying agile practices to improve team collaboration, communication, and delivery.
    • Experience in successfully implementing and scaling agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) in large and complex projects.
    • In-depth understanding of agile principles, frameworks, and methodologies, with a strong ability to tailor them to the specific needs of the development team.
    • Experience in managing relationships with technology vendors, particularly Workday.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Relevant certifications in Workday, project management, or leadership.
    • Innovative, agile, and high-performing teaming mindset, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Technology Trends Awareness by staying abreast of technology thought leadership, including the latest advances, trends, and frameworks.
    • Familiarity with relevant compliance and security standards in relation to Workday technology.
    • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate issues, assess risks, and implement proactive measures.
    • Experience in managing change and guiding teams through transitions in technology and processes.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
