    Description

    Overview of Quality Assurance Analyst role:

    • Conduct manual or automated testing on firm's technology applications to ensure system quality
    • Collaborate with development, business analysts, and stakeholders to define and execute test plans
    • Acquire knowledge of trade lifecycle in capital markets and products

    Typical Day of Quality Assurance Analyst:

    • Design test artifacts based on project requirements
    • Perform end-to-end testing, defect tracking, and reporting
    • Conduct certifications and conformance testing with brokers/exchanges
    • Maintain test environment, identify areas for improvement and automation
    • Collaborate with global teams to ensure effective communication

    Skill Set Required for Position:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, physics, or mathematics
    • 2 to 5 years of experience
    • Understanding of trading systems/financial domain with testing experience in front office, back office, or risk applications
    • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across regions
    • Experience in Linux environments and proficiency in scripting
