The Manager, Managed Services Delivery Implementation Architecture is a seasoned people management role, responsible for playing a pivotal role in designing and implementing complex managed services solutions that addresses a client's specific business need(s).

This role is responsible for managing other specialist roles in the end-to-end project deployment within assigned enterprise clients, leading project implementation from a technology perspective and providing expertise in technical consultancy and assigned implementation service areas.

What you'll be doing

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Act as the single point of contact for managed services solution implementation in client account.
• Provide subject matter expertise in area of specialisation relating to the managed services solution being implemented.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align technical solutions with client requirements.
• Ensure managed services solution(s) being implemented fulfill functional and technical requirements while meeting associated Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Define structure and architecture of the solution and its interfaces, perform feasibility analysis, keep the solution aligned to the business goals and strategy.
• Organise the design / plan agreed with the client into a managed service delivery plan.
• Generate project organisation, deliverable plan that includes configuration verification, transition plan to ensure onboarding of service assurance.
• May collaborate with sales teams to win new business and retain existing clients profitably.
• Translates the high-level technical design / solution into low level deliverables.
• Owns the technical design and sign-off on all technical designs.
• Identify and define the proper project deliverables for each party (including partners) involved in the project and communicate clearly the KPIs, milestone checks and all the measurables.
• Contribute towards growth of the services business area and operational efficiency.
• Define and drive technical requirements signed off with customer per schedule for implementation teams.
• Create detailed project organizational structure and responsibility matrix, assign appropriate tasks and responsibilities to the parties involved, forecast resource requirements for all aspects of project delivery.
• Organise and manage an appropriate team / system / partner to monitor the project progress, anticipate, detect and handle problems in the project.
• Support customer / vendor in terms of technical design / issues / discussion where need arises.
• Manage vendor(s) to ensure the technical designs are implemented as required.
• Ensure service acceptance testing (SAT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) is properly conducted in an end-to-end manner to ensure billing and payment management.
• Conduct proof of concept (POC) tests for proposed technical solution or to resolve existing issues.
• Review and work on reducing project cost through higher productivity, the use of tools and streamlining of resources and processes.
• Resolve any problems / issues detected in project execution by communicating / negotiating with various parties involved, consultants, vendors, and etc.; and/or escalating to higher level.
• Perform any other activity relating to the managed services delivery implementation project as required.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to team of specialists ensuring individual and team objectives are achieved.

• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile and Waterfall).

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or Information Systems as required.
• ITIL certification preferred.
• TOGAF or similar architecture certification preferred.
• Azure Architect/GCP Architect/AWS Architect

Required Experience:

• Advanced managed services provider experience preferred.
• Advanced demonstrated experienced gained within a similar role and matrixed managed services environment.
• Advanced demonstrated experience in IT project management and managed services delivery.
• Advanced demonstrated practical experience in technical architecting with relevant technologies, preferably from major services providers and/or solution providers.
• Advanced demonstrated experience in a pre-sales, consulting or client-facing role in a technology function.
• Seasoned experience in leading and managing specialist technical services delivery / architecture teams.
