    Team Lead - Purchase

    You will be working as Team Lead – Purchase at global grade 13 and will be part of Electrification business Area for Distribution Solutions division based in Nashik, India. In this role you will be reporting to Purchasing Manager and will be responsible for purchasing materials according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensuring purchase activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.

    Your responsibilities

    • Qualifying new suppliers in cooperation with supplier quality and engineering specialists
    • Negotiating agreements with main suppliers and periodically renewing pricelists, terms and conditions
    • Recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval
    • Supporting bid and proposal teams by providing relevant market information
    • Tracking goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensuring invoice processing
    • Overseeing supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolving performance issues
    • Initiating purchase orders (PO) in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures

    Your background

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
    • Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in people management
    • Knowledge in inventory management, innovations, conflict handling and management reporting
    • Knowledge about SAP MM, MS package including power Bi
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
