    Job Summary:

    The General Manager for Wide Width Textile Chemical Process Operations will oversee and manage all aspects of the chemical processing operations for wide-width textiles.

    This includes dyeing, pigment treatment, and effluent treatment processes.

    The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in textile manufacturing, particularly in handling wide-width fabrics, and a strong background in chemical processes and operations management.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Operational Management:Oversee daily operations of wide-width textile chemical processing, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
    Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance performance.
    Monitor and manage the entire dyeing, pigment treatment, and effluent treatment processes to ensure high-quality output.


    Process Optimization:
    Identify and implement improvements in chemical processing techniques to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
    Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, particularly in effluent treatment and environmental sustainability.
    Utilize advanced technologies and methodologies to optimize chemical usage and minimize environmental impact.


    Team Leadership:
    Lead and manage a team of engineers, operators, and technicians, providing guidance and support to achieve operational goals.
    Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and quality among staff.
    Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team updated on best practices and new technologies.


    Quality Assurance:
    Ensure all products meet the company's quality standards and customer specifications.
    Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the chemical processing stages.
    Address and resolve any quality issues promptly and effectively.


    Budget and Cost Management:
    Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
    Monitor expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
    Prepare regular financial and operational reports for senior management.


    Stakeholder Collaboration:
    Collaborate with other departments, including R&D, sales, and supply chain, to align operations with overall business objectives.
    Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and external partners to ensure smooth procurement of chemicals and materials.
    Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.


    Qualifications and Skills:

    Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.


    Experience:


    Minimum of 15 years of experience in textile manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a managerial role overseeing wide-width textile chemical processes.

    Proven experience in managing dyeing, pigment treatment, and effluent treatment operations.


    Technical Skills:
    In-depth knowledge of textile chemical processes, including dyeing, pigment treatment, and effluent treatment.
    Familiarity with CAD tools and process automation technologies.
    Strong understanding of quality control standards and regulatory requirements in the textile industry.
